We offer one-hour presentations, accessible to everyone, on various topics related to mental health and supporting a loved one living with a mental health disorder.

These sessions, offered either in person or online, are designed for diverse settings: community organizations, workplaces, support groups, and more. They aim to raise awareness, provide information, and offer thoughtful insights in simple and respectful language.

Each presentation concludes with a question-and-answer period to allow participants to engage and explore certain topics more deeply.

After a crisis, a change or a diagnosis, a caregiver can be left with many questions and emotions. What began as a desire to help can become a source of stress.

Over time, this stress can turn into what's known as caregiver burnout. In this presentation, we'll discuss what burnout is, how it manifests itself and the many effects it can have on caregivers.

We'll also look at strategies caregivers can use to support themselves and cope with this stress.

What does it mean to take care of our mental health and to take care of others? Join us for an insightful presentation on mental health, where we will explore what factors contribute to maintaining a good mental health and why it is important to do so.

Aiming to raise awareness of mental health issues and clarify common misconceptions that continue to circulate on the subject, we'll describe the different types of mental health disorders (such as anxiety and depression) and their symptoms, and share the resources available to families in the West Island.
